Located in New York City Kandice Chavous found her way into still imagery through her career as a moving image director. Because of this, her images are centered around strong narratives and fluid movements creating a modern aesthetic that is expressed from a cinematic point of view. Kandice is a creative thinker who loves blurring the line between the digital and analog world of image making.

Kandice pursued her M.A. in Fashion Film and Photography in Paris, France. She also holds a B.S. in Fashion Design from Thomas Jefferson University. These studies heavily influenced her abstract and often mysterious style of image making.

Kandice’s video works have been shown internationally at Bastille Design Center in Paris, France and Saatchi Education Gallery in London, England. Her films "Icarus's Fall" was selected for "Best Direction" and "On Any Given Day" was selected for "Best Fashion Film" at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
